As I write these words, Saturn lingers at 29°59′ Pisces—the final breath of the zodiac, the liminal point between completion and emergence.
This is the degree of threshold, of endings that whisper the shape of beginnings. The old story dissolves. The new has not yet taken form. We are suspended in the space between...

When Saturn crosses into Aries, he begins a 29-year journey anew. The God of Time, once immersed in the oceanic realms of Pisces, now steps onto solid ground—into fire, no less!
This is the transit of Initiation. Of Becoming. Of saying a sovereign “yes” to life’s next brave chapter.
In Aries, Saturn is no longer content to dream. He insists on action. This is the firewalk. The moment where the divine blueprint we've held in our hearts must meet the material world. It’s not easy—Saturn never is. But it is sacred.
✦ The Cosmic Weather
Saturn’s entrance into Aries comes with a chorus of celestial voices:
Mercury in Taurus sextile Saturn – A whisper of practical clarity. Our minds can grasp the steady steps required to build what matters.
Jupiter in Gemini square Saturn – Exuberance meets resistance. Big ideas must face real-world structures. How do we give our dreams a strong enough skeleton to stand?
Saturn sextile Uranus in Taurus – Innovation rooted in the earth. Old systems breaking open just enough to let the new light in.
Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries – Sacred realism. Dreams once ephemeral begin to take shape. Spiritual action becomes non-negotiable.
Saturn sextile Pluto in Aquarius – Long-range transformation aligned with purpose. Power with integrity.
Though Jupiter's square brings some friction, much of the sky is singing in gentle support. And once Uranus moves into Gemini on July 7th, the tempo of change quickens. The river runs faster.
Mars—the ruler of Aries—is currently in Leo, recently trined by Venus. Even with the sober stillness of Saturn’s arrival, there’s a warmth in the air… a golden hum of limitless possibility. The fire is rising, and it comes bearing both challenge and promise.
✦ Saturn as Sacred Taskmaster
I often see Saturn as the final presence we met before incarnating. A solemn, crystalline being helping us fine-tune our curriculum—those soul lessons we agreed to before we said yes to Earth. He is not a god of ease.
He is a god of depth. He brings the grit required for greatness. Not as punishment, but as preparation.
Now in Aries, Saturn challenges each of us:
What do you stand for?
What are you willing to begin again, with courage and commitment?
Can you let go of victimhood and claim authorship of your life?
We’re no longer in the waters of dreaming. We’re stepping onto new land. The path may not be fully formed yet, but our willingness to walk it with consciousness and integrity will shape the future.
✦ Saturn in Aries Ritual: Ignite the Sacred Commitment
Intention: To align with the essence of Saturn in Aries—courageous commitment to the soul’s next assignment.
You’ll Need:
A small candle (red or white, or one you’ve blessed)
A piece of paper + pen
A bowl of water
A flat stone or something grounding from nature
Optional: rosemary or frankincense essential oil
Steps:
Center & Prepare
Sit quietly. Anoint your pulse points with rosemary or frankincense. Feel the base of your spine connect to the earth. Take 3 slow breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth.
Create the Container
Place the bowl of water in front of you (Pisces / the past). Place the stone to the right of it (Aries / the future). Light the candle between them as a symbol of the threshold and the fire of initiation.
Reflect & Write
On your paper, write:
“I now honor the completion of a karmic cycle. I release the lessons I’ve outgrown, and I stand at the threshold of a new beginning. Saturn, ancient guide of form and time, show me where I am ready to commit.”
Then write a few intentions or commitments you are willing to take seriously—things that have been calling but require grounded follow-through.
Seal the Choice
Dip your fingers in the water and touch your third eye, saying: “I release the dreamtime.”
Then hold the stone in your hands and say: “I root my courage in the Earth and walk forward with purpose.”
Blow out the candle when ready, or let it burn safely to completion.

✦ Journaling Prompts for Saturn’s Ingress into Aries:
What soul lessons have I completed since Saturn entered Pisces in March 2023?
Where in my life do I feel the call to begin again—with deeper integrity and clarity?
What does “sacred responsibility” mean to me now?
What parts of myself am I ready to take seriously—and stop hiding or apologizing for?
If I were the leader of my life, what would I do first?
What support or structure do I need to commit to my next bold becoming?
