If you're anything like me, this Gemini season has felt as though someone accidentally sat on the cosmic fast-forward button.
Your inbox is overflowing.
Your phone is buzzing.
The headlines keep coming.
The opportunities, invitations, distractions, and obligations seem endless.
Some of it is wonderful.
Some of it is exhausting.
And all of it is competing for one precious resource:
Your attention.
Gemini thrives on information, curiosity, and connection. But with Uranus now traveling through Gemini, the volume has been turned up considerably. New ideas, innovations, revelations, and competing narratives are arriving faster than many of us can comfortably process.
In times like these, it becomes increasingly important to pause.
To breathe.
To step away from the noise long enough to hear your own soul.
For William and me, one of the most profound gifts of the past few weeks has been a daily practice of chanting the Gayatri Mantra.
Often described as a prayer for illumination, the Gayatri doesn't ask for wealth, success, or protection. Instead, it asks that divine light illuminate the intellect and guide us toward wisdom and truth.
Simple.
Elegant.
Profound.
Even on our busiest days, when we've only had time for a few rounds, I've noticed a remarkable shift.
The noise quiets.
The signal strengthens.
And what truly matters becomes easier to recognize.
✨ Enter the Fixed Stars
Nearly fifty years ago, my father gave me an astrology reading for my eighteenth birthday.
That single gift changed the trajectory of my life.
Over the decades that followed, I explored Solar Returns, Progressions, Harmonic Astrology, Astrocartography, Hellenistic techniques, and even spent a season studying Vedic astrology.
Yet somehow, one of astrology's oldest branches remained just beyond my horizon:
The Fixed Stars.
Perhaps the timing simply wasn't right.
Or perhaps, like so many things, we encounter them when we're ready.
As more people begin questioning the limits of our conventional understanding of reality, interest in the stars has naturally reawakened.
The ancients watched the heavens carefully. They tracked the appearance of specific stars and observed meaningful correlations between celestial events and life on Earth.
Over time, rich mythologies, stories, and symbolic meanings emerged.
Today, those same stars invite us into a much larger conversation about consciousness, origins, purpose, and our place within a vast and mysterious universe.
As a lifelong student of life's mysteries, I find myself standing at the threshold of this new realm with equal parts excitement, humility, and wonder.
And my soul is singing.
✨ Alnilam — The String of Pearls
The most striking feature of this Gemini New Moon is its conjunction with the brilliant blue-white fixed star Alnilam, the central star of Orion's Belt.
The name Alnilam is often translated as "The String of Pearls."
I love that image.
A pearl by itself is beautiful.
But a pearl lying alone in a jewelry box serves a very different purpose than pearls lovingly strung together into a necklace.
One is a collection.
The other is a creation.
In her seminal work on the Fixed Stars, Bernadette Brady associates Alnilam with the ability to gather what is already known and expand it into something new — a process through which an entirely new foundation may emerge.
That feels especially relevant now.
We are living in an age overflowing with information. Books, podcasts, videos, courses, social media, artificial intelligence... knowledge is everywhere.
Wisdom, however, comes from synthesis.
Wisdom comes from connecting the dots.
Under this Gemini New Moon, we are invited to gather the pearls of our experience and weave them into something meaningful.
What ideas are waiting to be connected?
What project is asking for your attention?
What wisdom have you gathered that is ready to become something tangible?
Is there a book you've been meaning to write?
A course you'd love to create?
A conversation you've been postponing?
A dream patiently waiting on your "someday" list?
Alnilam whispers: It’s time to start weaving.

✨ The Subtle Magic of the Minor Aspects
At first glance, this New Moon appears deceptively simple.
The major aspects are few, yet the minor aspects tell a fascinating story.
As those of us who work with harmonic astrology know, "minor" aspects are often anything but.
✨ Quintile Saturn in Aries
The quintile is the aspect of creative genius and inspired craftsmanship.
Saturn in Aries asks us to take responsibility for our vision.
This aspect supports building something lasting from a spark of inspiration.
⚡ 16th Harmonic Uranus in Gemini
Uranus is already electrifying the Gemini field.
This aspect feels like a lightning strike of insight.
Pay attention to seemingly random ideas, conversations, and synchronicities. They may contain seeds of innovation that reveal their value later.
🌊 Binovile Neptune in Aries
The novile family carries themes of spiritual gestation and inner development.
This aspect reminds us that not everything is meant to be forced.
Some insights arrive through stillness.
Some answers emerge through trust.
Some doors open when we stop pushing.
🌱 New Moon Intentions — Listening for What Your Soul Wants
Gemini is curious, bright, playful, and endlessly inventive.
With Uranus now traveling through Gemini, this New Moon carries an extra spark of innovation and possibility. New ideas may arrive seemingly out of nowhere. Long-forgotten dreams may suddenly feel relevant again. Possibilities that once seemed far-fetched may begin asking for your attention.
Have fun with this one...
Pretend you're a child again and the world is your oyster.
Turn on your favorite music.
Close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths.
Then ask yourself:
What do I want?
Notice whatever arises.
Then ask a second question:
What does my soul want?
Is the answer the same?
Different?
There is no right or wrong response.
Simply notice.
One of the gifts of spiritual practice is that it helps us distinguish between the endless chatter of the mind and the quieter wisdom of the heart.
Under this Gemini New Moon, that distinction may prove invaluable.
The signal is there.
The question is whether we're creating enough space to hear it.
Once you've spent some time listening, find a quiet moment to write your intentions by hand.
Let them be playful.
Let them be inspired.
Let them surprise you.
And most importantly... let them belong to you.
✨ Intention Windows (PDT)
Since the Moon goes Void of Course with her conjunction to the Sun, our first window for intentions begins when she moves into her home sign, Cancer on June 15th at 5:14 am until she joins with Jupiter on the 17th at 12:40 am. This may be the juiciest of the three intention windows, given that both the Moon & Jupiter are in their happy places in Cancer.
She’ll bring us another lovely window with her journey through Leo: June 17th at 5:05 am until she forms a harmonious sextile with the Sun at 4:30 am on June 19th.
A third fertile intention setting period presents itself from June 19th at 7:37 am, when she enters Virgo until she forms a sextile with Jupiter on the 21st at 10:33 am.
The beauty of intentions is that they are not contracts with the universe.
They are conversations.
A declaration of willingness to participate in what wishes to emerge through us.

🌿 Chiron Enters Taurus — Bringing Wisdom Home
This week also marks a significant shift as Chiron, the Wounded Healer, leaves Aries and enters Taurus.
In Greek mythology, Chiron was a wise centaur, teacher, healer, and mentor to heroes including Achilles, Asclepius, and Heracles.
Unlike many wounds, Chiron's wound was one he could never fully heal. Through that experience, he became a master teacher, helping others navigate their own paths with greater wisdom and compassion.
For the past eight years, Chiron's journey through Aries has invited us to examine wounds related to identity, courage, self-assertion, and our relationship with personal agency.
At times, we may have taken things a bit more personally than necessary.
Which brings to mind the second agreement from Don Miguel Ruiz's beloved book, The Four Agreements:
Don't take anything personally.
Simple.
Not always easy.
But profoundly liberating.
As Chiron enters Taurus, the focus begins to shift.
The healing journey becomes more embodied.
Questions of security, self-worth, sustainability, resources, and our relationship with the Earth may become increasingly important.
Taurus reminds us that healing doesn't happen solely through insight.
Healing happens through presence.
Through tending the garden.
Through nourishing the body.
Through creating lives that feel stable, meaningful, and aligned with our values.
In many ways, Chiron's movement into Taurus feels like an invitation to bring wisdom down from the mind and into the soil.
To become rooted in what is real.
To remember that growth, like nature itself, unfolds in seasons.
And perhaps to spend a little more time listening to Mother Earth.
Something tells me there may be a few more home gardeners in our future.
✨ Gathering the Pearls
If there is a common thread running through this Gemini New Moon, it is the invitation to gather the pearls.
Information is abundant.
Wisdom is cultivated.
We are being asked to slow down just enough to notice which ideas, conversations, practices, and inspirations truly belong together.
Not every notification deserves our attention.
Not every opinion deserves space in our minds.
Not every path is ours to walk.
As Uranus continues its journey through Gemini, the volume of information is likely to increase rather than decrease.
The question becomes:
How do we remain centered amidst the noise?
For me, the answer has been spiritual practice.
Not because it removes life's complexity, but because it helps me hear my own inner guidance beneath it.

✨ Spiritual Practice in Accelerated Times
We are living through extraordinary times.
Information travels at the speed of light.
Artificial intelligence can answer questions in seconds.
News cycles change by the hour.
Entire industries can transform in a matter of months.
Yet the deepest wisdom still arrives the way it always has:
Through presence.
Through stillness.
Through our willingness to listen.
For me, that listening has recently taken the form of the Gayatri Mantra.
Often called a prayer for illumination, the Gayatri asks that divine light illuminate the intellect and guide us toward wisdom and truth.
What I love most about it is its simplicity.
You don't need to subscribe to a particular belief system to appreciate the intention behind it.
At its heart, it is simply a prayer for clarity, wisdom, and alignment.
In a world overflowing with information, that feels more valuable than ever.
Whether your practice is chanting, prayer, meditation, breathwork, gardening, time in nature, or simply sitting quietly beneath the stars, I encourage you to deepen it.
As our lives continue to accelerate, spiritual practice becomes less of a luxury and more of an anchor.
It helps us distinguish signal from static.
And perhaps that is one of the great invitations of this Gemini New Moon.
