Some Full Moons illuminate emotions… and some illuminate perspective itself.
This Sagittarius Full Moon arrives like a cosmic lantern held high above the landscape, revealing not only where we are, but where our current trajectory is leading us.
Sagittarius is the seeker, the philosopher, the storyteller, the explorer of meaning.
And under this Moon, many of us may find ourselves asking:
What do I truly believe?
What deserves my faith?
What future am I consciously participating in?
This lunation carries an especially amplified quality because it is the second Full Moon occurring within the month of May — what many refer to as a “Blue Moon.”
Personally, I lean less toward the popular monthly designation and more toward astrological Blue Moons, which occur when a sign hosts two Full Moons within a single solar season. The next of those arrives in May 2027 with a second Scorpio Full Moon.
But terminology aside, this Moon is rare for far more interesting reasons...
✨ The Royal Stars Awaken
This Full Moon activates three of the four Royal Stars of Persia — ancient stars associated with guardianship, leadership, integrity, and humanity’s relationship with power and destiny.
The Moon aligns with Antares
The Sun aligns with Aldebaran
The North Node activates Fomalhaut
Together, these stars create the feeling that something new is being forged within the collective field.
Not polished leadership.
Not performative authority.
But leadership tempered by experience, truth-testing, and the rapidly changing times we are living through.
Venus also adds her own celestial blessing through her conjunction with Sirius — the brilliant “Dog Star” long associated with illumination, wisdom, devotion, and spiritual radiance.
And Jupiter, exalted in Cancer, joins with Pollux — one of the twin stars of Gemini — adding emotional intelligence, intuition, and humanity to the broader conversation.
There is enormous movement in the skies… but also surprising support.

One of the quieter gifts of this Full Moon is that both the Sun and Moon are disposed by planets with excellent dignity.
The Moon in Sagittarius answers to Jupiter, and Jupiter is currently exalted in Cancer — softening the emotional field with nourishment, wisdom, and heart.
Meanwhile, the Sun in Gemini is ruled by Mercury in his home sign of Gemini, sharpening perception and enhancing clarity.
Even amidst rapid change, there is coherence available to us if we remain present enough to access it.
