The Year of Transformation – Happy Easter!

The time of transformation and resurrection is upon us as today we celebrate the eternal nature of our indwelling spirits!

We chose to come to Earth for the grand adventure of exploring the realm of 3D, with all of its “cause & effect” gifts and challenges…

“Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river. The current of the river swept silently over them all -- young and old, rich and poor, good and evil -- the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.

Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current was what each had learned from birth.

But one creature said at last, "I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go, and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom."

The other creatures laughed and said, "Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!"

But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks.

Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.

And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, "See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the messiah, come to save us all!"

And the one carried in the current said, "I am no more messiah than you. The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure."

But they cried the more, "Savior!" all the while clinging to the rocks, and when they looked again he was gone, and they were left alone making legends of a savior."

-- from Illusions by Richard Bach

Divine Teacher or Savior?

What Richard Bach implies above may be frowned upon by those who would rather that you stay in your limited “mortal” paradigm of victimhood. Many of us believe that Jesus came here to show us the way, not to be worshipped…

Why would he want to be worshipped? Imagine that you are teaching a class and you are delivering knowledge and wisdom that you know will transform the lives of your students in profound ways. You complete your lesson and look out at your classroom, hoping to see that inspiration has taken hold, but instead of seeing the lights come on for your students, they prostrate themselves before you. EW! Worse, yet, they start to war with each other, completely missing the point of "Love thy neighbor!"

Jesus doesn’t want us to worship him…appreciate him, yes! Love him, YES…but worship? What he wants, is for us to follow in his footsteps. He came to show us the way…at least that feels right for me!

On this Easter Sunday, we have 2 wonderful aspects forming in the sky that will perfect on this coming Tuesday:

  • Venus is about to move into Gemini and will trine Pluto for the first time in Aquarius. This is asking us to ponder the heights and depths of love. In Gemini, Venus is much more interested in the glittering conversations that can be had as we “count all the ways…” that we love our loved ones. What are all the ways that you love yourself? We must first truly love ourselves in order to love another. This brings us to…

  • The 2nd big aspect that is happening on Tuesday is the Sun and Jupiter conjunction. It takes a year for the Sun to circuit the 12 signs of the zodiac, and it takes Jupiter 12 years to travel through all 12 signs. This means that the Sun conjuncts Jupiter every year in the next sign. Last year, they met up in the beautifully spiritual, artistic, and dreamy sign of Pisces. This year the Sun will join Jupiter at 21°45’ Aries, where the two of them will radiate goodwill, abundant offerings, and extreme optimism upon the land! There is a self-sufficient, courageous, and daring quality to this union in Aries. In Pisces, we were invited to “Dream the Impossible Dream,” and in Aries we know that it is time to make those dreams happen!

With these two auspicious transits already forming in the sky, we have a wonderful opportunity to dig deep, harness all the love that we have to give, and grow forth into the adventure that is our unfolding lives!

With Pluto in Aquarius, there is no doubt that we will be transformed in the process!*

However you choose to express your Divine spirit in your life, it is yours to express with your unique flair. What is it that you are longing to do with your life? You have great gifts to unwrap!

So today, I am contemplating this wonderful life that I get to live with the love of my life. William and I are doing our best to “unwrap” our gifts in order to bring them into the world…

We wish you a wonderful Easter celebration and lovely week ahead!

Elise

*I recommend that you read or re-read my blog regarding Pluto in Aquarius, since Pluto is the Great Transformer – Pluto hasn’t been in Aquarius since the American Revolution!
