Easter Grace in the Midst of the Storm: Navigating the T-square

This week, the sky is alight with tension and grace — a dance between the fixed and the flowing, the dismantling and the divine.
As we move through the days following Easter, the themes of rebirth and inner resurrection continue to ripple through the cosmos and our lives.
This Easter morning, I experienced a small miracle, reminding me how deeply we are loved and watched. William and I had celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on April 1st, and the roses he gave me had begun to dry. As I offered some of the petals to the ivy below our balcony — a ritual of returning beauty to nature — I looked down and saw a pristine Easter lily blooming right there, in the wild!

It feels like a sign from spirit... a gift, perfectly timed. (No other Easter Lilies are growing in the ivy below our balcony!)
The message was clear: grace is always present, even when unexpected.
And this is the essence of the astrology we’re walking through now: wild intensity held in a container of deep love and possibility.
The Fixed T-Square: Sun, Mars, Pluto (April 20–26)
This evening, April 20, a rare and exact T-square forms between the Sun in Taurus, Mars in Leo, and the Moon in Aquarius — all fixed signs. Fixed energy is strong, unwavering, and resistant to change. Each of these archetypes brings a particular flavor:
The Sun in Taurus, ruled by Venus, anchors us in the sensual world — beauty, peace, the rhythms of nature.
Mars in Leo, ruled by the Sun, is the courageous heart, the bold protector, the noble warrior.
Pluto in Aquarius, co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus, represents the deep, often disruptive evolutionary force moving through our collective systems and psyche.
Mars and Pluto are traditionally malefic — intense, forceful, even destructive. But destruction isn't inherently bad. Sometimes, the old kitchen island must be demolished with a sledgehammer to make space for the new.
On April 26, Mars will oppose Pluto at 3°, the final chapter in this particular Mars–Pluto cycle that began last year. This opposition is a call to courage. What needs to be dismantled so that your soul can breathe more freely?
The Saving Grace: Venus, Saturn, and the North Node in Pisces (April 21–24)
Overlaying this intensity is a rare and beautiful stellium in Pisces, where Venus (exalted here), Saturn, and the North Node all meet.
Pisces holds the sacred water of compassion, artistry, and spiritual surrender. Venus brings love and softness. Saturn brings form and commitment. The North Node points to destiny.
This conjunction forms a novile — a subtle, sacred 40° aspect — to the New Moon that follows on April 27. The novile is linked to initiation, the sacred, and inner mastery.
If the T-square is the storm, this Pisces stellium is the sanctuary (eye of the hurricane). It reminds us that structure and grace can coexist, and that it’s possible to be steady in our softness.

Reflections for the Week
Where in your life are you feeling the pressure to change?
What structures (internal or external) are no longer supporting your becoming?
Can you offer yourself the same grace you extend to others?
Are you willing to surrender to a higher order of timing and love?
A Blessing for the Path Ahead
✨May you feel held in the eye of the storm.
✨May the sledgehammer be wielded with wisdom and the lily bloom in your soul.
✨May the grace of Venus in Pisces remind you that no matter how fixed the sky appears, you are always free to choose love.
With love and cosmic support,
Elise
