Pluto Ingresses into Aquarius – Welcome to Society 5.0 on Steroids!

On March 23, 2013, Pluto will enter Aquarius for the first time since the Revolutionary War of the fledgling colonists of North America.

Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008, and will give us a preview of his journey through Aquarius as he will “dip his toe” into the sign of the water bearer for just a few months until June 11th, when he retrogrades back into Capricorn to make sure that we’ve excavated every last bit of the earth there!

Then on January 20, 2024, he’ll ingress again into Aquarius, only to retrograde back into Capricorn on September 1, 2024. He’ll make his final entry into Aquarius on November 19, 2024.

Are We Entering the Age of Aquarius?

The short answer is “No. We will not be officially in the Age of Aquarius for another several hundred years.” Although, there have been many glimpses of the Aquarian Age. Ages don’t have hard start and stop lines, they are more like the colors of the rainbow…

The Aquarian energy can be seen in democracy, socialism, communism, air and space travel, the civil rights movement, the Internet, as well as many other technologies. Of course, all of these things were born within the Age of Pisces, where they were immediately molded into a top-down hierarchy, and we all know that “a fish rots from the head down.”

We also experienced the “Christmas Star” back in 2020, with Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 0° on the Winter Solstice, which has ushered in strong Aquarian energy for the next 18 years, and of course Pluto moving into Aquarius for the next 20 years.

Archetypal Aquarius

The humanitarian fixed air sign of Aquarius invites us to explore all that is possible in human potential as we strive toward an utopian ideal, and it asks us to burst through our paradigms, which we claim to be true and real, in order to expand what is possible in our universe. The sky is the limit with Aquarius!

Pluto in Aquarius

The last time we had Pluto in Aquarius was from 1777 until 1798. During this time, the fledgling colonies won their independence, and the United States of America was formed. Note that we here in the United States consider July 4, 1776 to be our country’s birthdate, but this was only when the Declaration of Independence was signed. We still had a war to fight and win.

It wasn’t until the Treaty of Paris, which was signed on September 3, 1783, that the complete separation from the British Empire occurred. For those of us who have been following the U.S.’s Pluto return, Pluto was at 08°07’ Aquarius when the Treaty of Paris was signed.

North America wasn’t the only place on Earth where mankind was striving for more equality and liberty. The French Revolution began in 1789.

Humanity witnessed great advances technologically during Pluto’s last tour through Aquarius with the electrical discoveries of Aloisio Galvani and Alessandro Volta. It was on March 13, 1781, when William Herschel discovered Uranus. This shook the astronomical world and revolutionized the way we looked at our solar system. Up until then, Saturn was perceived as the farthest planet in our solar system.

Society 5.0

The Prime Minister’s Office of Japan said that that this is a technology-based human-centered society. Whether you like it or not, IoT, big data, blockchain, 3D printing, nanotechnology, biotechnology, drones, robots, and AI are all emerging in our world.

As the challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution give way to the vast possibilities of Society 5.0, we are presented with opportunities beyond our wildest imaginations, when we get our priorities in order.

The advancements of civilization over the past 100 years are simply unsustainable unless we place a focus on environmental and social sustainability and create a world that works for everyone! With the advent of fusion technology being made readily available, we will likely not recognize our world in another 20 years!
