Here Comes The Sun ~ Aries Ingress & The Astrological New Year!
After a long cold winter, we finally have the Vernal Equinox today at 8:06 p.m., March 19, 2024.
Even though Pope Gregory XIII created the Gregorian calendar back in 1582, and most of the world considers January 1st to be the New Year, the Sun’s ingress into Aries ushers in the Astrological New Year, which of course corresponds with the northern hemisphere’s first day of spring.
** Astrology is arguably very northern hemisphere biased since it was created north of the equator. This isn’t arbitrary, however, as the magnetic field lines flow outward from the north pole and inward toward the south pole. While our ancient astrologers would not have known that, scientifically, the zodiac works energetically, no matter where on the planet you were born or currently live.
What I love about this year’s ingress chart is that the two luminaries, the Sun & Moon, are trine each other, and the Sun is conjunct Neptune in Pisces, and sextile Pluto in Aquarius. There’s a cosmic blessing in this chart for all of us!
I’ve been encouraging everyone to rejuvenate in the tranquil waters of Pisces during this past month, knowing that once the Sun moves into Aries, the river of life will start to flow very quickly! The conditions are ripe for moving forward with your projects… expect rapid progress…
