🔥🌑🔥Aquarius Annular Solar Eclipse

“Annular” comes from the Latin annulus — a ring — giving rise to the name “Ring of Fire.”
February 17, 2026 | 28°50’ Aquarius | 7:12 am PST
Unless you live in Antarctica, this annular “Ring of Fire” eclipse won’t be visible — but make no mistake, it will be felt.
This is the first eclipse activating the Aquarius/Leo axis, offering a preview of where we are heading collectively. While the Nodes remain in Pisces/Virgo until July 26, this eclipse begins shifting our attention toward sovereignty, humanity, and conscious individuation within the collective.
Something is turning.
Aquarius & the People — The U.S. Moon
This eclipse lands directly on the United States’ Aquarius Moon.
In mundane astrology, the Moon represents the people. An Aquarius Moon speaks to ideals of equality, innovation, humanitarianism, and social evolution. It makes profound symbolic sense that the U.S. carries this signature.
Yet this eclipse is tightly square Uranus in Taurus — and Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius.
Uranus represents sudden change, awakening, disruption.
In Taurus, those disruptions touch:
• Money
• Land
• Food systems
• Security
• Value structures
Uranus has been agitating the U.S. Moon since summer 2024 through retrograde motion, and this eclipse intensifies that tension.
There is revolution in the air — but it unfolds within the much larger frame of what’s coming next.
Let’s keep our heads. Let’s stay conscious.

🔥 The Great Convergence at 0° Aries
Three days after this eclipse, on February 20 at 8:54 am PST, Saturn and Neptune merge at 0° Aries.
Saturn and Neptune join approximately every 36 years.
But they have not conjoined at the Alpha degree of Aries in over 6,000 years — 4361 BC to be exact.
A very special thanks to astrologer Heather Ensworth for her meticulous research identifying that date.
4361 BC was during the early Neolithic era — a time when humanity was transitioning from nomadic hunter-gatherer cultures into settled agricultural societies. Permanent dwellings were forming. Pottery and early farming techniques were emerging. Civilization was beginning to root itself into structure.
That period marked a shift from survival mobility to societal formation.
And here we are again.
Saturn governs:
• Structure
• Boundaries
• Systems
• Discipline
Neptune governs:
• Dissolution
• Vision
• Mysticism
• Collective consciousness
Their merging at 0° Aries — the beginning of the zodiac — suggests:
The dissolution of old systems and the initiation of entirely new ones.
Aries represents personal agency.
This time, we are not passive participants in the restructuring of the world.
We have a say.
The question becomes:
Who am I?
What do I want?
Take your time with those questions. They are epoch-defining.

🐎 The Year of the Fire Horse
The Lunar New Year begins February 17, 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse (Bǐng Wǔ).
In the Chinese zodiac cycle, Fire Horse years occur once every 60 years and are associated with intense momentum, independence, courage, and dramatic transformation. Fire amplifies the already bold and dynamic nature of the Horse, creating a year that favors innovation, risk-taking, and decisive action.
If ever there were a convergence of symbolic systems, this is it.
The Saturn–Neptune initiation at 0° Aries
The Aquarius Solar Eclipse
The Year of the Fire Horse
All speak the same language:
Momentum
Reinvention
Threshold energy
(And yes — while Jupiter moves through signs annually and there are 12 Chinese zodiac animals, these systems are structurally independent. The overlap is symbolic, not mechanical.)
💫 Venus Conjunct the North Node
Amidst all this intensity, there is a luminous grace note.
Venus, exalted in Pisces, is exactly conjunct the North Node.
This feels like a cosmic reassurance:
You are not navigating this alone — Love is guiding the evolutionary path.
Even with Uranian shocks in the air, Venus reminds us that divine timing is intact.
🌊 The Minor Grand Trine — February 22
Two days later, on February 22, one of the loveliest configurations of the year unfolds:
• Venus exalted in Pisces trine Jupiter exalted in Cancer
• The Moon exalted in Taurus sextile both
This creates a beautiful triangle of mutual reception:
• Moon in Venus’ sign
• Venus in Jupiter’s sign
• Jupiter in the Moon’s sign
This is a day to anchor in.
If you’ve been planning a launch — this is your window.
Yes, we’re still in eclipse season. But if we chose to incarnate during these ultra-dynamic times, we are clearly not here for small living.

🌑 New Moon Intentions (All times are PST)
Because this is a Solar Eclipse, I recommend waiting.
The most potent window arrives February 22:
🕊 5:10 am – 12:01 pm
(Taurus Moon sextile North Node through exact Venus–Jupiter trine)
That final hour is especially powerful.
Secondary window:

(Moon in Cancer)

Closing
The Water Bearer empties his vessel — pouring out what has been so that something new can be received.
This is not destruction for its own sake. It is sacred release.
As the frequencies of this new era intensify, it will become increasingly difficult to cling to structures, identities, and beliefs that no longer resonate with truth.
We are approaching an epochal turning point. The Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries is not subtle.
Yes, old systems cling. Yes, the appearances can feel chaotic.
But remember:
Your attention is your currency.
What you feed grows.
When I first learned to break a board in a workshop, I was told not to focus on the board — what I was ready to release — but on the space beyond it, the carpet on the other side, where my intention already lived. When I did, the board split effortlessly.
Perhaps this moment in history is asking the same of us... Focus beyond the board.
Parallel realities exist. Which one are you strengthening?
You are not navigating this alone. Your guides, ancestors, and unseen allies are deeply invested in this time unfolding well — but we live in a free-will zone. They cannot intervene unless invited.
Ask for help. Speak aloud. Co-create.
And take heart: Venus and Jupiter stand strong and dignified in this chart — a quiet assurance that love, wisdom, and benevolence are woven into this moment.
How are you participating in the birth of what comes next?
William and I, together with our dear friend Avrumie (“Rum”) Tornheim, are building WE R Utopia as our offering to this threshold time. We invite you to dream forward with us.
With so much love,
Elise
