It’s Spring & the Beginning of the Tropical Zodiac!

The slight tilt of the Earth on her axis creates our four seasons and the zodiac.
Throughout the year, the Sun’s rays land most directly on the area of the Earth between the Tropic of Cancer in the northern hemisphere and the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere. When the Sun reaches these northernmost or southernmost latitudes we have our solstices, which comes from the Latin words: sol “Sun” and sister “to stand still.”

Twice a year, when the Sun is halfway in his journey between the Tropic of Cancer & the Tropic of Capricorn, he crosses the Equator.
Today, the Sun has crossed the Equator in his northward journey, and we have our Vernal/Spring Equinox or Autumnal/Fall Equinox for our southern hemisphere friends.
Whether it is the first day of spring or fall in your world, the Sun has just entered Aries for the whole planet and our astrological new year has begun!
The sign of Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiac. Fire is the spark of inspiration, illuminating our path before us. The introspective/meditative Piscean journey shifts into an extravertive, let’s get out into the world and see what we can discover in this vast world of ours!
