Taurus Lunar Eclipse Joins Uranus
This year’s Taurus Lunar Eclipse, which is happening (as my darling friend, Cilette Swann, of Gypsy Soul would say) in the “wee” hours of November 8th at 2:59 am PT, will be visible in Asia, Australia, Pacific, and the Americas.
Basically, if you are on the side of the Earth that can see the Moon, you will be able to see the eclipse. This is a long duration eclipse (3 hours and 40 minutes), so if you have weather that is cooperating and you feel inclined, then you will have a nice long time to view the last Total Lunar Eclipse until 2025!

There are several things to unpack about this Lunar Eclipse…
Mercury Cazimi
Mercury is within minutes of his conjunction with the Sun. Given that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus are all conjunct the South Node, there is an invitation to release our egoic identifications, ideas, and concepts, along with any pleasure seeking or relationship dynamics that are no longer serving us.
The Moon Conjunct Uranus
The Full Moon and Uranus are both at 16° Taurus. This brings the Saturn/Uranus square that we’ve had for the past couple of years back into focus. There has been a struggle between the status quo and a desire to break free and create something completely out of the box!
We’ve been witnessing a zeitgeist of revolutionary rumblings all over the world. The way that we’ve been living simply isn’t sustainable, and there’s definitely dissatisfaction within some of our world’s countries—between the people and the power structures.
Uranus in Taurus has been nudging the world along the path of creating new and innovative ways to deal with our resources, money, and how we treat the earth. The way that we humans have been using the earth’s resources simply isn’t sustainable, and this eclipse is bound to show us in dramatic ways how we can shift our way of being in the world in order to create a world that works for everyone.
With the Moon being eclipsed in Taurus, her sign of exaltation, and landing so close to Uranus (“The Great Awakener”) and the North Node, which propels us ever forward on our journey, I can’t help but feel that a kind of portal is opening up that is inviting us to take great strides in our creation of a New Earth.
