Aquarius New Moon – Happy Chinese New Year (Water Rabbit)
We’ve all heard of the “Age of Aquarius,” well the Aquarius New Moon is kind of like a “micro-taste” of that future utopian age!
The sign of Aquarius is opposite the sign of Leo, which is all about the individual or “the king or queen,” whereas Aquarius is more about equality and what works for everyone.
So what does Utopia look like to you?
I invite you to sit deeply with this question…
We live in a world which, by just about any account, is anything but ideal, and yet I believe that on the deepest level we have a knowing of what utopia looks like and that it’s possible. It shows up in literature as the ‘Garden of Eden’ or a ‘Paradise Lost.'
Today, let us each breathe together and envision what 'Heaven on Earth' would be. Miracles are possible and they are all around us!
Something new and beautiful is emerging
and you are such an important piece of the puzzle!
The Water Bearer symbology is a lovely image to meditate on.
In a world that can feel parched for spiritual sustenance, allow yourself to bathe in the shower of inspiration that comes from the highest planes.
The Star card in the Tarot represents Aquarius and speaks volumes! The following is from Gerd Ziegler's Tarot: Mirror of the Soul:
“Cosmic inspiration of the highest nature is received and made manifest on the material plane…The medium, or water carrier in this process is represented by the star goddess Nuith. She is fully open to the input from the spiritual plane and passes it on in full service to the highest good. She is the channel used by divine energy to manifest on earth. In each hand she holds a cup through which the spiral vortices of energy pour. Her hair acts as an antenna to extend perception and flows to the earth, carrying with it the inspiration of the cosmic.
A new, crystal-clear vision lends form and purpose to that which a moment ago was only a vague impression. You gain a more penetrating view into the boundless potential of your development. The power of the inspiration you receive gives wings to your soul and lets the apparently impossible become manifest in marvelous ways.
A person led by this wisdom exudes such a quality of being, such a radiation, that other people are drawn as if by a magnet. The sheer force of spiritual transformation causes the masks of personality and the limitations of the small “I” to become meaningless. Stubborn willfulness and fear can be dropped as the water-bearer gives herself up more and more to the workings of the newly freed spirit.
The receptive antennas must, however, be subjected regularly to careful purifying and cleansing. If reception is disturbed by self-seeking tendencies, the tremendous energies at hand can have a devastating effect. Enthusiasm may become fanaticism; inspiration may become illusion. The emotions need to be watchfully observed. Just as the emotions become crystalized. This means they must be clearly and definitely grasped. This cannot happen if you repress and control emotions, but only if you allow emotional unfolding to take place.”
Because the image for Aquarius is the water bearer, people have been confused and think that Aquarius is a water sign.
The communicative, intellectual, logical, objective, and idealistic sign of Aquarius is definitely a fixed/air sign!
