Exploring Scorpio's Depths
Welcome to the realm of Scorpio, the most mysterious and misunderstood of the zodiac signs!
The fixed watery nature of Scorpio brings a depth of emotion that can bewilder the more rational among us. Spock-like Aquarians, for example, have no need for human emotion, though they are probably fascinated by it! ;-)
As the Sun is heading into the “underworld”, and the nights are getting longer, this is a wonderful time of year to take stock of what provisions you have. This is also a time to assess the resources that you share with others.
The New Moon occurred last night at 8:38 PM, PDT on October 27TH, 2019. The most powerful interplay that the Sun and Moon at 4°25’ Scorpio had with the rest of our Solar System was the exact (within 12 minutes) opposition to Uranus at 4°37’ Taurus.
Uranus “The Great Awakener” is inviting us to strip away the illusions and face our shadowy depths with impunity! It’s an “expect the unexpected” period of time during this next “Moon-th”.
This is a great time to deeply dive into our inner selves and discover the treasures that we might have kept secret and safe until we were ready to handle the responsibility of such power!
Are you prepared to take “Frodo’s journey”? Every “Lord of the Rings” fan knows that his journey wasn’t necessarily fun, but it was well worth it!

This is the time to trust the process and know that you have help from beyond as well as next door…
As sovereign souls inhabiting the avatars that are our physical bodies, and living the lives that we have chosen to be been born into, with all of its gifts and challenges, which we chose to have as part of our adventure here on Earth, it’s important to remember that we are at cause in our lives.
I know how easy it is to get swept up into the illusion that the world “out there” is real and finite, but let me remind all of us, myself included, that the spark of divinity that each of us are is more powerful than anything holding our attention!
We are the ones who are paying attention…

What is capturing your focus these days? Is it the spectacle of world events? Is it your Twitter feed?
Mind you, I’m not saying that this time in history that we chose to be born into isn’t important…I am saying that it’s very important to be mindful that we are the ones who chose. We are the ones who choose what we keep our attention on.
I say this as a reminder that as quantum beings we are infinitely more powerful than the birth charts we chose, albeit for good reasons. The challenge is that we seem to have been born with a kind of “chip” compelling us to think that we are separated from the rest of the universe, and therefore we find ourselves in a dualistic comparison game.
Our egos keep us safe, but they also keep us small!
Most of us keep giving our power away to some external force. We seem to be sleepwalking through our lives…dreaming that we are victims of our circumstances.
When I was a little girl, I had a dream that I was taking a test in my classroom. I turned to one of my friends and said, “I’m dreaming this.” My friend said, “You’re crazy! Why would you want to dream of taking a test?” I smiled and replied, “The great thing is, I can wake up whenever I want to!”
That dream has stayed with me all these years and truly is a key that continues to help me unlock my life…
Why we are here on Earth has been the subject for debate and the source of many of our world religions. I don’t think that we are living at the whim of some external deity who is commanding us to live in certain ways, and to whom we owe our allegiance.
Unfortunately, this prime teaching of organized religion can keep our minds in a tight, little box. What’s even more insidious is that most of us don’t know that we are stuck in our boxes.

Applied knowledge is power, and awareness is key!
Now that we know that we are living in a paradigm of our own creation…formed by the conditioning that we allowed to shape our world view and ultimately the world that we are living in…we are free to wake up!

Some say that enlightenment happens in the blink of an eye…
Personally, I’ve had moments of illumination where everything is crystal clear, but I have also found myself being pulled back into the world of Maya by some thought or feeling.
There is nothing enlightened about beating one’s self up!
I find that humor is one of the greatest healers, and simply noticing that I have tripped tends to snap me out of a place of “stuckness”.
The ego wants to strategize and fix, but while fixing things may work in the material world, it is not the way of the quantum world. In the quantum world, when we notice what appears to be and truly have what we have, then we are freed up to choose something else!

One of William’s and my teachers is a wonderful and extraordinary man, Harvey Cohen, who reminds me of a delightful kind of Jewish Gandalf! He would always say, “There is nothing that you have to do…there is only something to know…and there is no place where God ends and I begin.”
So, my dear friend, enjoy this adventure of duality, all while being aware that you are the one who is choosing it all!
