Happy Relationship-filled Spring!

I find myself saying: “This is very auspicious” a lot these past few years, but this IS very auspicious—this Spring Equinox (when the Sun moves into Aries) coincides with the Libra Full Moon. The moment of the Equinox is 2:58 pm PDT & the Full Moon will perfect at 6:42 pm PDT.

The sign of Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiac. Fire is the spark of inspiration, illuminating our path before us. The time of the introspective Piscean exploration gives way to full-on hitting the road and taking our journey out into the world! We’ve uncovered much within ourselves during this past month and now it’s time for the great adventure to begin.

Aries is the singular pioneer who longs to expand his quest into the great unknown, but this year we are reminded that no one is an island…we all need our “others!”

As the Libra Full Moon rises tonight, we are reminded of the importance of striking a balance between our individual needs and those of our loved ones.

If there is something that needs to be healed in our relationships, this Full Moon will reveal the avenues for restoring equilibrium.

Remember that Mercury is still retrograde, so if there has been a misunderstanding or miscommunication within your relationships, the next few days will be perfect for “airing” (Libra is one of the communicative air signs) your differences.

Communication is all about speaking our truth and hearing each other. This is an art form. Truly digging deeply into our own psyche and bringing our gifts into the open for our partners to understand where we are coming from is very important. What can often trip us up is our expectations that our “others” completely understand us. Sometimes they do, but sometimes they don’t. We all have our own perspectives so it’s nearly impossible to share the exact same vantage point.

If we are as clear as we can be about our own point of view, we don’t need anyone else’s endorsement. What we do need is their love, but without fully understanding and loving ourselves, this is impossible. The more that we love ourselves, the more we have to offer our relationships.

So enjoy the gifts of Spring along with the gifts that you get to share with the others in your life.
