Full Moons Offer Times for Reflection

Our blessed world has been through so much during these past few weeks since the New Moon in Aquarius.

The world came together to celebrate the best that we can be physically, through the Winter Olympics. We witnessed not only the greatness of strength and prowess, but also the strength of the human spirit. We celebrated and cried with our athletes as they reached into their depths to bring out their very best.

Juxtaposed against the celebration of the best that we can be, we also had the shocking and stark reminder that our world still has a consistent, seemingly insatiable violence. Unfortunately our youth has learned that many of the "adults" in their world will not save them, nor protect them, and that if they are to keep themselves safe, then they are the ones who must do something to create the world that they long to live in.

In the wake of a horrific event, our youth has found and are using their voices.

We are truly the ones we have been waiting for and this Full Moon is fully supporting us in the creation that we are in the midst of birthing.

Now birth is messy…but so worth it!

As much as we may resist the thought that what we see in the world is a reflection of ourselves, we do live in a holographic universe composed of light and energy. It's too easy to look out and see flaws in our world and each other, but not so easy to recognize that those flaws are within us. Trying to change the external world is as silly as looking in a mirror and trying to remove a blemish by polishing the glass before us.

In the recent movie Darkest Hour, Winston Churchill says, “If we aren’t willing to change our minds, then nothing changes.”

It is time to recognize that we have work to do if we desire a better world for ourselves, and more importantly for our next generations.

Each of us has so much to contribute; we are each a piece of the grand puzzle. It's truly exciting to think about the possibilities!

The Virgo Full Moon will happen toady at 4:51 pm PST (adjust according to your time zone) at 11°23’ Virgo. With the Sun conjunct Neptune in Pisces, we have an imprint of soft dreaminess, but we are also strongly supported by the Sun’s sextile and the Moon’s trine to Saturn in Capricorn.

We also have a lovely trine between our two benefics, Venus, who so loves the gentle, flowing, loving and artistic vibes that she's been feeling in Pisces is now trine Jupiter, who has been helping us explore our depths while he's moving through and exposing the secrets of Scorpio. Anyone with Water or Earth planets between approx. 20° - 26° will get a special gift this month.
